Film Submission Specs & Creative Entry Guidelines

We're so excited to welcome your film to the Lightspeed Film Exhibition! To ensure your work shines on the big screen and in our promotional materials, please follow these submission specs:

Film Format

• Video Format: H.264 MP4

• Resolution: 1080p (Full HD)

Poster Specs

• Orientation: Vertical (Portrait)

• Recommended Dimensions:

  • 1080 x 1600 px (minimum)

  • 2000 x 3000 px at 300 DPI (preferred for high-res use)

• Aspect Ratio: 2:3 (matches standard theatrical posters)

• File Format: JPEG or PNG

• Max File Size: 5–10 MB

Marketing Support

To help us promote your film and celebrate your work:

• Please submit at least one trailer (under 2 minutes preferred)

• Include 3–5 high-quality screen grabs from your film

• Optional: A square version of your poster (for social)

Filmmaker Participation

We kindly ask all selected filmmakers to:

• Attend the event in person if possible

• Share and Tag us on Socials, let's get excited about this.

• Join us onstage for a brief Q&A session after the screening

• Be part of the celebration — it’s your night!
